«Necklace»
Series "On this side of the past".
Cardboard, oil, texture paste, 50 x 40 cm, 2024
700 Euros
I was inspired to create this portrait when I saw a photo of an incredibly beautiful woman. It is 1942, the war is still so long ahead, but the girl's eyes look as if she knows what will happen next. As if those eyes know that we will be on that path too... I added a little smile to her face. I want her to smile. She was young and beautiful. That's why I added a necklace. Let her have a gift from me in 80 years.
