A serdak is an outerwear from Hutsulshchyna, as vibrant as the nature of the Carpathian Mountains themselves. Made of felted cloth and colorful woolen threads, it embodies the gifts of the land, carefully transformed by skilled hands. A serdak is decorated with embroidered colorful elements, symbolizing the smiling yellow sun in the sky, the whispering among green grasses and trees, and the intertwining blue streams of water in intricate patterns. Additionally, serdaks are adorned with lush tassels and darmovysy that cheerfully chatter like the noisy Carpathian waterfalls.
