It is impossible to stop looking at this girl’s eyes. She does not even try to straighten her back in front of the photographer or to smile. There’s such a natural grace and restraint in her.
But do you know what touched me the most? Her “korsetka” is already a little too small, and the top button has come undone in a childlike way, showing the cross on her chest. It made me want to hug her. Perhaps it was a gift from her godparents. Maybe she will never part with it and will live a long life with it. Hopefully, this cross will protect her from evil and grant her a happy fate.
